2023 Elections I Remains The Legitimate PDP Borno Central Candidate – Kumalia

Following the victory at the Court of Appeal Gombe and Abuja, the Borno Central Senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Barrister Mohammed Kumalia has said that he still remains the legitimate and authentic senatorial candidate of the PDP, for the 2023 general elections.
Addressing journalists in his Maiduguri residence on Monday shortly after the ruling of the two Apex Courts, Barrister Mohammed Kumalia said ” I Want to tell the whole world that I still remains the legitimate and authentic Borno central senatorial candidate of the PDP and I am working hard to see that we win the election.
He said my name was on the INEC list from 20th September 2022 up til 31st January, 2023 when the Federal High court Maiduguri in case filled by the APC where the court judgement asked the INEC to remove his name, stressing that with the Mondays judgement the Appeal that quash the judgement of the lower court his name was automatically restored.
“The Maiduguri Federal High court case was instituted by the APC asking for the court to INEC to remove my name and that I should stop parading myself as senatorial candidate, which the court granted their prayers. However today the Appeal Court set aside the judgement of the lower court on the ground that APC has no right on the primary of the PDP.”, he said
Kumalia said ” conduct of primary election is strictly the responsibility of national body of the party and I was fielded by my party and I remains the candidate that was fielded by my party.”.
“By God Grace we will win the election, because there is no part of the senatorial district I have not gone to , I went to Ngala slept, in Banki, I slept in Gamboru. I went to Dikwa, Konduga and Dalori”, he said .We are going to win election come 25th and 11 March from top to bottom”, he stressed.
He accused Hon Jibrin Tatabe of being stooge of the APC that are working for the APC, adding that the victory of the court is double victory for the party.
