2023 : Five Political Parties Adopt Atiku As Presidential Candidate As PDP Roundup Campaign in Yola.

Ahead of the Saturday 25th Febuary 2023 general elections,five(5) political parties have adopted the people’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate,Atiku Abubakar as their parties presidential hopeful.
National Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement,APM,Yusuf Dantalle disclosed the development at the PDP’s presidential campaign grand finale held in Yola,Adamawa state capital weekend explaining that their parties decided to adopt Atiku after wide consultations and relevant deliberations.
“We are proud to identify with this movement that is set the country’s democracy to the next level and bring fresh air to Nigerians,remove the hardship of Nigerians.
“Nigeria needs and deserve servant leaders,listening government that will transform the country and improve the living standard of the people”.Dantalle stated.
Dantalle who spoke on behalf of the five political parties announced the five parties to include;Allied Peoples Movement,APM,Action Alliance,AA,African Democratic Congress,ADC,National Rescue Movement,NRM and Action Peoples Party,APP respectively.
In his address to the mammoth crowd, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar urged Nigerians (electorate) to give him another opportunity to serve the country as next president promising not to disappoint Nigerians if elected come 25th Febuary 2023.
The main opposition party PDP Presidential hopeful Atiku pleaded for votes from his supporters to enable him clinch the president’s seat as their illustrious son.
Atiku revealed that a similar opportunity was presented to him under the platform of the party in 2019 but couldn’t succeed and urged the people to take up this opportunity not to fail the state and the party in the forthcoming elections.
Atiku promised to ensure he work towards actualizing his promise of restructuring the country and improving Nigeria’s economy and the education sector among others.
“My fellow citizens of Adamawa state,I can not thank you enough but you must not forget that Nigerians have been very kind to you,they elected me in 2019 to lead this party and again they were not disappointed,they elected me for the second time i appeal to you not to disappoint the rest of Nigeria for the favour they have done to you.
“This is where the future of our state and country resides in PDP. I want to appeal to you to make sure that you vote for PDP,from top to bottom,from bottom to the top .Don’t allow yourself to be misled by any propaganda by any one”.Atiku appealed.
He also enjoined the people to re-elect Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to enable him consolidate on the
developmental projects he initiated especially his investment in education sector noting that another chance should be given to him.
National Chairman of PDP Senator Ayochia Ayu revealed that in all the states visited their candidate is widely accepted by Nigerians thanking the people of Adamawa State for coming out en-mass to show solidarity for their son.
Ayu stated that the strength of the PDP and its candidate has collapsed other opposition parties having produced a qualified candidate who is battle ready to change the narratives.
“Atiku is the most qualified among all other candidates vying for the office of the president in the scheduled 25th Febuary general elections and he (Atiku) is the only candidate capable enough to address the division in the country and unite the people and restore the lost glory of the country caused by APC’s bad leadership”. Ayu fumes.
In his remarks,Governor Fintiri expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by the people at the rally calling on them to translate the gesture at the polls next Saturday by voting for Atiku as president so as to enable him actualise his five (5) point agenda.
