2023 : SDP Pledges to Fight Hunger,illiteracy,Unemployment & Ensure inclusive Government in Adamawa

The Adamawa state Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party,SDP, Dr. Umar Ardo has pledged to run an all inclusive government that will focus on people oriented projects if elected as Governor come 2023 Election.
Ardo made the pledge in Yola,the state capital at the official flag-off ceremony of his gubernatorial campaign held on Thursday stressing that if given the opportunity to serve,his government will focus on organising and channeling the huge reservoir of talents,skills and assets that abound in the state.
Ardo said his administration if given the mandate by electorate would be focusing more on conquering hunger,disease,illiteracy and ignorance,unemployment as well as infrastructural deficit with a view to change the narrative in governance.
“Our government will restore honesty,transparency and accountability in public service and end the stealing of public funds We will not steal a single kobo and we will not allow anybody to do so”.Ardo declared.
While promising stakeholders and supporters of his party who converged in their thousands to witness the event at the famous Mahmud Ribadu Square,Ardo stated that his primary mission is to get everybody in the service of the state by giving the needed commitments essential for development.
In his address National Chairman of the party,Shehu Musa Gabam urged the electorate in the state and country to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card(PVCS) and vote massively for the candidates of their choice especially those in the SDP.
Gabam commended the good people of the Adamawa state for the support and cooperation to the party citing the large turn-out to grace the occasion as a sign of acceptability of the party in the state.
Gabam assured the electorate that electronic voting methodology adopted by INEC has brought a lot of reliefs to the Nigerians as the system is being monitored closely right from the unit level up to the central collation centre.
Earlier in his remarks,the presidential candidate of the SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo charged Nigerians to vote for SDP candidates from top to bottom so that good governance can be attain.
Adebayo advice electorate to do away with the two dominant political parties including APC and PDP as he accused them of being responsible for all the mess facing us as a country today insisting that they have interchangeably governed the country for over two decades with little legacies to show.
The presidential hopeful and his entourage  in company of the Gubernatorial candidate have paid courtesy calls on first emirs including ; Lamido Adamawa,Emir of Mubi,Gangwari Ganye,Hama Bachama,Hama Bata as well as Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri respectively.
