Adamawa Senator Binos’s Free Medical Outreach Treated 558 Constituents In Jereng

In continuation of the free medical outreach in Adamawa Southern Senatorial district sponsored by Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, 558 patients have been treated in Nassarawo -Jereng ward of Mayo-belwa local government area in the state.
The 558 patients who received treatment ranging from surgeries, consultation services, laboratory, pharmacy among others were attended to by the medical team on in an orderly manner of first come, first serve approach to the last on the register.
While on the spot assessment visit at the Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) Jereng,Senator Binos Yaroe said that, his decision to provide to free medical services to his constituents was borne out of his desire to ensure people at the grassroot have access to quality medical services.
Senator Binos disclosed that what keeps his free medical outreaches moving from when it began way far back in August 2019 in Demsa LGA was due to his genuine intention to ensuring the people of Adamawa South Senatorial Zone reap the needed dividends of democracy.
Senator Binos observed that , one of the factors that hindered other politicians who tried to emulate him from making headway in their medical outreaches was that they did it for elections purposes and not for the benefit of the masses, hence their medical outreaches stopped halfway without seeing the light of the day.
He called on his constituents to reflect back as 2023 General Elections are fast approaching to enable them vote for politicians who have genuine intentions for them and not those who do things because of their selfishness.
“Use your PVCs wisely for voting for the right politicians. At the Presidential Election, vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar going by how he empowers lots of the people of Adamawa State. He set up businesses and factors for the benefit of the masses.
“At the Governorship Election, re-elect Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for continuity. We all know how he transformed the whole of Adamawa State in various ways. Here at Adamawa South Senatorial District, vote for me to enable me provide more democracy dividends to you. With Atiku as President, I will be able to do more than what I am doing now”.Binos stated.
While promising to upgrade the Primary Health Care Centre Jereng if elected to enable the inhabitants of the area to have access to better health services, Senator Binos his desire is to make sure the electorate in his district taste the sweet fruits of democracy.
Also speaking, the Head of Medical Team, Dr Jama Medan, disclosed that over 558 patients had received free medical treatment ranging from surgeries, consultation services, laboratory, pharmacy among others.
Dr Jama described the Jereng medical outreach as a success due to the large turnout of residents in the surrounding communities despite being a market day.
He commended his team for their commitment where he attributed it to the quality equipment on ground for them to work with, noting that other medical outreaches failed to see the light of the day due to lack of quality equipment.
He pointed out, “If you want to copy the free medical outreach of Senator Binos Yaroe, find out from him and learn how to sustain it. If you don’t provide quality equipment to work with, the medical doctors will backout because they cannot compromise their profession”.
While calling on the people of Adamawa South Senatorial District to vote for Senator Binos Yaroe to enable him provide more democracy dividends, Dr Medan disclosed that the grant finale of the outreach comes up on 9th January 2023 where patients are expected to come from Gombe, Taraba, Borno and other neighbouring States.
In her remarks, the Facility Manager of Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) Jereng, Mrs Hanatu Audu Bobboi, who could not hide her joy, was highly impressed with the large turnout of residents, noting that it was the first of its kinds seeing huge crowd in the centre.
