Borno APC forum drums support for Tinubu/Shettima, Zulum Ticket ,other APC candidates

An All Progressives Congress (APC) forum of ward chairmen and secretaries from Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC) of Borno state have thrown their weight behind the candidature of Tinubu/Shettima , Governor Babagana Zulum and all other candidates of the party come next years general elections and promised to mobilize party supporters for the victory the party.
Briefing journalists at a press Conference held at the APC secretariats Maiduguri on Monday, the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Kaumi Musa said “as the party leaders at the grassroot, we are real party men. We are going mobilized both human and material resources in ensuring victory of Tinubu,Shettima, Governor Babagana Zulum and other APC candidature come 2923 general elections.
” 3 days ago we had a meeting with the state party chairman, Hon. Ali Dalori where we discussed on his to strategize on campaign activities, as campaign is set to commence electioneering campaign but to our dismay, rumours are going round that threatens to leave the party. Thus malicious false and unfounded “, Musa said.
“It is therefore disheartening to hear some insinuations on the social media that APC supporters in MMC are not carried along in policies and programmes of the present administration. The Forum want to use this medium to reassure that we are working round the clock to fish out those who were perpetrating falsehood against us in the social media, Musa stated.
The forum chairman also said ” we are going fish out the enemies of the party that what create problems in the party, we are not going to be determined by thus gimmick we are going work for all party standard bearer. We in Borno have reason not support APC as our own Shettima is also a vice presidential candidate “.
He said the forum consist chairmen and secretaries drawn from 15 wards of Maiduguri Metropolitan Council, MMC ., stressing that Tinubu-Shettima ticket, as the best option to rescue the country from economic decline with increased insecurity to people’s lives and property.
“This Forum are proud to be associated with massive people oriented projects executed by governor Babagana Zulum in the last three and half years, which are glaringly spread across the 27 local government areas, particularly in Maiduguri metropolis where several mega schools, roads, hospitals/clinics were constructed and commissioned by Mr President Muhammadu Buhari among others, he added.
The Forum said “Under the present administration, we have witnessed several dividends of democracy with empowerment of our people, and we have no option that to ensure our total support and cooperation to the APC- Led government.
The Forum therefore, called on the good people of Borno state to continue support the present administration, which will soon receive thousands of decampees from various opposition political parties into the APC fold, as it is the only party of hope to the common man.
