Borno Monday Market inferno : Shettima Sympathises With Victims Donates N100 million

The vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC ), Senator Kashim Shettima has donated N100 million to the victims of the Maiduguri Monday market inferno .
Speaking with journalist in Maiduguri on Sunday, Senator Kashim Shettima who is also the Senator representing Borno Central said ” it sadden my heart the unfortunate fire that gutted Maiduguri Monday market. I am here to sympathise with the victims, the Shehu of Borno, the government and entire people of the state.
While sympathizing with the victims of the inferno, Shettima said ” as my modest contribution to the victims, I am assisting with the sum of N100 million, i have spoken with my principal, Asiwaju Tinubu and he personally promised to come personally to sympathise with the Victims this week Tuesday or Wednesday and assist . Because, he knows that the people loves him”
He said ” The Governor would lead us to see President Muhammadu Buhari to solicit the support and assist the victims, in rebuilding the market better, as Borno state government cannot do it ,alone’.
The Vice Presidential candidate said ” we all know that Maiduguri Monday market is vitally important to the people of Borno state, as it create jobs to thousands of peace in the state We believed that Mr president and other well wishers will assist.
