Dami is on a tribal mission trading with Christianity to campaign for Fintiri – Sen Abbo

…You have openly shown your real character as a politician, not a Catholic Bishop and CAN Chairman whose role is to carry every Christian along irrespective of denomination or political party…
Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo, a.k.a Cliff has cautioned the Adamawa state Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza against manipulating the conscience of Christians, using his office. The call was made following a trending video in which the CAN chairman is clearly captured campaigning for the re-election bid of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Michika local government, TGNews online can report.
Abbo who is the Senator representing the northern senatorial district of Adamawa state, under the All Progressives Congress, APC, has urgrd Mamza to be sensitive to the reality that Adamawa Christians never had it this bad in the history of politics in the state, under his watch as the leader of all the Christians in the state.
Abbo expressed dismay that for the Christian cleric to join the campaign train of Governor Fintiri to Michika and called on the Christian faithful to vote for the Fintiri, has reduced him to a mere politician rather than a Christian leader, and a Catholic Bishop of his worth.
Abbo pointed out that Christians in the state are not heading any of the three arms of government, contrary to the promise made by Fintiri during his 2019 campaign and the CAN Chairman is comfortable with the critically concerned arrangement.
Abbo said for his personal gains, Mamza has the mouth, the strength and all the political languages to deploy in campaigning for the a return of Fintiri to Dougirei Hill.
“It’s too bad! It’s a deception, trading with the Christian faith. Dami is on a tribal mission and his gains are not in the interest of all Christians and we are not to be deceived.
“No Christian Speaker, No Christian Chief Justice, No Christian Secretary to the State Government (SSG) today in Adamawa, and he has never talked on those issues.
”He appeared to be comfortable with the whole thing because he is gaining much from using the office of CAN chairman for himself, not the entire Christians.
“It’s okay with him because he has contracts and his tribal king is in power,” Abbo said.
Abbo in his critical “Cliffitous” manner, dared Dami Mamza, sying “you have openly shown your real character as a politician, not a Catholic Bishop and CAN Chairman whose role is to carry every Christian along irrespective of denomination or political party.”
Abbo has called on the Christians to wake up from the political slumber and reject those that have been hoodwinking them, where he accused Mamza of organizing 1000 Pastors in Adamawa and handing over the Catholic Pulpit to Fintiri.
In the trending video, the CAN Chairman while with the Governor a few days ago during his campaign in Michika, Dami called on Christians in Michika to vote for Fintiri because he performed more than the former governors in the state.
Dami, a Marghi Man said is from Michika Local Government, while addressing Christians, enjoined them to give Fintiri bloc votes because he has done well.
