Fatima Was Arrested For killing Her Husband’s Cousin Sister

Fatima Banki has killed her husband Cousin sister for alleged having affairs with her husband in her matrimonial home.
Parading the suspects journalists at the Police headquarters, Maiduguri on Friday, the, Borno state commissioner of Police, CP Abdu Jmat said the Fatima Banki was arrested for knocking down her husbands cousin with pestle on her head for allegedly having affairs with her husband.
Confessing her offence, the suspect said she caught her husband red handed with a Lady she does know on her matrimonial bed, where she took a pestle handle and knock her on her head,”
” I knock her with pestle on her head when I saw her with my husband on my matrimonial bed having sexual inter course. I don’t know that it would kill her, she added.
CP Abdu Umar said ” a total of 110 suspects were arrested in connection with 70 cases of kidnapping, Armed robbery, raping, theft, criminal conspiracy, banditry, drugs, vandalism among others during the period under review”.
The command also nabbed a repentant Boko Haram member for theft and breach of mistrust.
On the arrests of the repentant Boko Haram, the CP said “THEFT: On the 16/05/2023 at about 11oohrs, One Babagoni Mohammed Ibrahim ‘M’ of Sulumbri Opposite Mashidimami Maiduguri was arrested for the offence of theft and he was found with Nine (9) Wrappers, Beans and Shoe case under ”
Speaking also in an interview with newsmen, the repentant Boko Haram suspect, Babagana Mohammed who admired the offence said she have been working for her for the last four months but she refused to pay him that was why he took the wrappers.
I have been rearing her animals for her for the last four years but she could not pay me that was why I picked her belongings . She used to leave the house in our custody and travelled to Abuja but nothing happened until today”, he added.
CP Abdu Umar, said “the following are the cases recorded from the period of January to date, 2023 Total Number of Cases (70) Total number of Suspects (110), 1. Kidnapping:- five (6), 2. Rape:- Six (6), 3. Unnatural Offence:- One (1)
4. Criminal Conspiracy and Theft:- (29),5. Armed Robbery:- (5), 6. Criminal Conspiracy and Culpable Homicide:- (15), 7. Criminal Conspiracy, Armed Robbery, Causing Grievous Hurt and
Unlawful Possession of Prohibited Firearms (1),8. Criminal Conspiracy, Trespass, Theft Causing Grievous Hurt (2) 9. Act of Terrorism (1), 10. Being in Possession of Suspected to be Indian Hemp “.
CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY, ARMED ROBBERY, CAUSING GRIEVOUS HURT AN UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF PROHIBITED FIREARMS SUSPECT ARRESTED: (1) Modu Adamu Suspects at large: (6) Six others Exhibits:
(1) 2 AK47 riffles,(2) 3 empty magazines of AK47 riffles(3) Two set of camouflage military uniforms and (4) Two sets of magazines jackets.”, he said
“BRIEF: On 01/05/2023 at about 0900hrs the above suspect and six others at large while armed with AK.47 riffles and other dangerous weapons attacked and robbed some motorists along Damasak/Gudumbali highway of their money and valuables. The police at Damasak on the receipt of the information rushed to the scene and arrested the above suspect while others escaped with gun shot injuries after abandoning their weapons. The above exhibits were recovered. Suspect confessed to the crime. He is assisting the police towards the arrest of his fleeing colleagues in crime, stressed.
The CP said on completion of investigation the suspects would charged yo court, while drugs related cases would handed over to the NDLEA for further investigation.
