Gov. Buni Condoles with Nasarawa Gov. over Son’s Death

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, in company of his Kogi state colleague, Alh. Yahaya Bello, today paid a condolence visit to their Nassarawa state counterpart, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, over the demise of his son, Hassan Sule.
The two governors were in Gudi, country home of the Nasarawa state governor to sympathise with Governor Sule, the government and people of Nasarawa state over the death of 36 year old Hassan.
Buni and Bello, prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Hassan his shortcomings and to grant him eternal rest in Aljannatu Firdaus.
They also prayed Allah to grant Governor Sule, his family and the people of Nasarawa state the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
The Emir of Lafia, Alh. Sidi Bage Muhammad, who spoke on behalf of the family and people of Nasarawa state, thanked the two governors for identifying with their brother and colleague at this trying moment.
“We are honoured by your presence to sympathise with us at this moment when we lost Hassan, a very loyal, composed and respectful gentleman.
“We take solace as Muslims that from Allah we came and to him we shall return” the Emir said.
Hassan died last Thursday at the age of 36 and was buried in Gudi, Nassarawa state according to Islamic rites.
