Superlative Nigerian observers who are watching what’s going on in Yobe state would not but agree that work in the right direction delivers enduring fruits. Hard work doesn’t kill. That is the enviable story of Governor Buni CON. Of Yobe state as he marks his 55th Birthday today.

Governor Mai Mala Buni is a Levelheaded leader who is beyond reproach, he is always outstanding and a consensus builder, one who will never improve himself at the expense of the masses.

The mark of a true visionary in his ability to imagine the future and act on it, yielding great result in the process and then using his success for the benefit of others.

A great leader takes people where they want to go, and also takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be…

Men make history and not the other way round, in periods where there is no leadership, society stands still.

Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change for the better, look at how far Yobe have come, that is the aim of Gov Buni’s Footprint’s retrospect, to access our leaders after they’ve had enough time to take action but before they’ve solidified their legacy, and although it seems like an arbitrary measures.

Therefore, it’s only appropriate to seize the occasion of his middle age birthday to examine his relentless work schedule that has benefited the state and made it possible to refer to it as, business destination, market hub, and construction site, it is in addition the state with the biggest healthcare service delivery centre cut across Africa, the international cargo airport, the most biggest trailer transit park in the whole Africa with complete facilities that will carter for all and sundry.

An Agrarian state with abundant natural mineral resources, Yobe have indeed began to wear a new look with state-of-the-art road network and city intersection cut across the 17 LGAs.

Most of these have taken place only under the watch of Gov. Mai Mala Buni, even if i must admit that government is a continuum, but every age would have to carve out it’s own district identity.

History has keen interest in taking note of this identity aspect in the unfolding of events.

No administration can appropriate the honour due its successor or predecessor, the continuum theory not withstanding! You have to carve out your own niche, as it were.

For instance, Buni displayed rare courage of conviction and passion by declaring state of emergency on the dilapidated basic education in the state, and vowed to take healthcare service delivery to another level in his assumption of office as the 4th democratically elected Governor of Yobe state.

Buni might be another year older on every 19th November, but he still remains that phenomenal leader who Nigerians, Yobe and the ruling all progressive congress (APC) have ocean of respect and admiration for, may he forever keep chalking longer than life accomplishment.

The point has been established that Buni is an astute manager of people and an all-inclusive leader who carries everyone along irrespective of political affiliation, tribe, religion or status.

This really demonstrated early in the life of his government in the inception of 2019, immediately he took the oath of office, he moved like a hurricane to prove that government business isn’t meant for the laid-back. From his assumption of office to date he has transformed yobe to a modern state wth world class facilities in both health and education among other sectors.

You’re a wonderful leader of the world of yesterday, today and the future, we thank God for making you the type of person you’re today, a selfless, Levelheaded and all-inclusive leader.

All the great leaders that are born in November have had one characteristic in common, it was the willingness to comfort unequivocally, the major anxiety of their people at all times.

When you took me under your wings, i could not foresee all the beautiful things life had in store for me. Thank you for caring and inspiring me like you do. You’re the best leader, Boss and mentor ever.
