Nobody is Greater Than The Party, Borno APC Chairman Warns Federal Legislator

The chairman All Progressive Congress (APC) in Borno state, Hon Ali Dalori has expressed his dismay over the situation where some party leaders are disrespecting the party, pointing out that nobody is greater than the party, and that the party is bigger than an individual.
Hon. Ali Dalori who disclosed this while speaking at the inauguration of the Borno state APC campaign Council at the Government House, Maiduguri during the weekend accused the member representing Bayo, Biu, Kwaya Kusar and Shani Federal constituency, Hon. Muktari Betera for not honouring the invitations of the party and indulging in anti party activities.
” Nobody is greater than our party, I am not happy that we invited Hon. Muktari Betara but he did not honour our invitation. I know even within this Hall there are some people working against the party. We are going to deal with anybody that disrespect the party, no matter how highly placed he is, the chairman added.
Dalori said ” even if you win election but you are still undermining the party, to us, you have not won any election. This is the last slap of my stewardship as chairman, thank God. I have delivered 2 different governors, many senators, house of representatives, house of assemblies among others. I am fulfilled but we will not allow anybody to undermine the party.”,
Reacting, member of the APC in Biu advised the party chairman not worsen the crisis in the party, as according to him, Muktari Betara is a force to reckon with and even if he contested in APGA the people of his constituency will vote him.
” Betara has done a lot to the people of his constituency and irrespective of party affiliation we are going to vote for him. i advised the party chairman to restrain from such utterances as this will not help the party.”.
Another resident of Biu said ” yes the party chairman is right, he has been causing confusion in APC in the state. We called him to respect the party, because he is vying the election on its platforms.
