A CASE OF 23 YEARS OLD MARYAM MUSA SUFFERING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR

Umminrashida Care Foundation(URCF-NIG) has in its struggle to put a smile on the face of the needy and the less privileged has located a young lady MARYAM MUSA who’s suffering with a pain for more than a year now as at 23rd of July 2021.

The 23yrs old Maryam is suffering from what is described as fracture dislocation at the left hip which she got as a result of car-keke Napep Clash accident on the 11th of July 2020 around State Hotel of GRA, Maiduguri.

Maiduguri Based Maryam lives with her parents in a small house in GRA Community behind NIPOST Maiduguri, Whose Father is named MUSA BUBA BUMSA who is originally from BUMSA community of Gulani Local government of Yobe State.

Suffering Maryam alongside her family was on the 29th of June 2021 at the NATIONAL ORTHOPAEDIC HOSPITAL DALA, KANO for a further diagnosis which now the hospital is demanding for a sum of One Million, Forty-Two Thousand, two hundred and eight Naira and Seventy-Five Kobo(1,042,308.75) as indicated in the invoice below to perform a major surgery described as TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT because the family can’t afford the amount they have no choice than to bring her back home. Maryam is now at home waiting for what the Almighty will do.

On the above note the Umminrashida Care Foundation(URCF-NIG) is calling on the general public to pls save the life of this young lady from the one year of pain and suffering, we are all together in this gesture, we can do it if we believe we can!

The Borno state Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, yesterday directed the immediate identification and enrolment of orphans of deceased members of the Civilian Joint Tasks Force (CJTF), hunters, vigilantes who lost their lives in the ongoing fight against insurgency in the state

Governor Zulum while addressing the leadership of CJTF, hunters and Vigilantes at the Government House, yesterday directed the enrollment to School the orphans of Fallen Volunteers, as part of ways to support volunteers, Governor

The governor also directed the released of N55 million, 5,000 bags of rice and 5000 gallons of cooking oil to the members of t(CJTF,), Hunters and vigilantes as part of support for the 2021 Eid El Kabir Sallah celebrations.

Each of tthe 5,000 CJTF, hunters and vigilantee operating in Maiduguri metropolitan council (MMC) and Jere Local Government Areas, Borno’s most populated locations will receive cash, a bag of rice and a gallon of oil.

*I invited you to register my deepest appreciation to all of you in the Civilian JTF, hunters and vigilantes for your enormous sacrifices and support to the military in securing the lives and property of the people of Borno State”, the governor said.

The Governor pointed out that supporting the volunteers is critical to Borno’s complementing of the Nigerian military and other security agencies in the battle with Boko Haram insurgents.

Zulum while paying tributes to fighters and the state’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Kaka Shehu Lawan, whose ministry oversees the volunteers through a department of civil rights protection said I invited you to register my deepest appreciation to all of you in the Civilian JTF, hunters and vigilantes for your enormous sacrifices and support to the military in securing the lives and property of the people of Borno State”, the governor said.

“I also extend my appreciation to the Attorney General who is leading this very important team, the permanent secretary security, the SSA security and Executive Secretary and members of Borno’s Security Trust Fund, for the combined efforts in repositioning our security responses in the state. May Allah in his infinite wisdom reward all of you abundantly. In addition to my gratitude to the hunters, vigilantes and CJTF also wish to provide a token of support to volunteers towards this Sallah Celebration”, further stated.

After announcing cash and food support to the volunteers, the governor said “no amount of money or support can match the critical sacrifices made by volunteers, I really wish we can do so much more, but insha Allah, whenever our financial condition improves, government will offer bigger support”

Police in Borno nabs 10 suspects for POS,robbery, trailing, stealing bank customers, others

The Borno state Police command has arrested 10 suspects for Point of Service (POS) robbery,, syndicates that specialize in trailing and stealing from bank customers, as well Indian hemp dealers in its efforts to curb crime and other criminality in the state, .

Briefing, journalists at a press conference at the Police headquarters, Maiduguri, on Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), SP Edet Okon said the Command on 29/04/2021 at about 2100hrs, received a report through G.R.A Division that at about 20:45hrs, some hoodlums operating in a black Golf vehicle attacked and robbed a POS operator at Circular road, Polo Area of Maiduguri of the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N2, 500,000) and on receipt of the report the police launched a manhunt that led to arrest of 2 suspects, while 1 still at large.

SP Okon said ” On the receipt of the report, the Command launched a man hunt for the criminals and consequently, one Akachukwu Emmanuel was arrested at Lamisula Police Division. His confession led to the arrest of one of his accomplices, a certain Isa Goni at Kano Municipality. Other accomplices who are at large are still being trailed by operatives of the Command.”.

Items recivered, from the suspects, according to the police, includes 1 Black Golf Saloon vehicle with registration No. ASU 230 MU2 POS Machines and other accessories .

Also, the police in a separate operation arrested syndicate that specialize in trailing banks customers and robbed them of their monies .

“Between 15/5/2021 and 28/5/2021, Operatives of the command, in an intelligence-driven operation, arrested the following persons 1.)Mallam Hamisu 2.)Alh. Umar Samalia alias Dan Babur 3.)Alhaji Habibu Garba alias Senator 4.) Alh. Ali Yahaya and 5.)Mari Paul; all suspects who specialize in trailing unsuspecting citizens – especially those just coming out from banks – break into their cars and steal monies kept therein.”, He stated.

The PPRO said the suspects were trailed and arrested by Crack Operatives in Maiduguri, Jos, Kano and Jalingo in Taraba States, adding that, while interrogating the suspects they confessed to have stole N23, million from a vehicle parked inside Musa Usman Secretariat and another, N2, 5 million from a vehicle belonging to one Aliyu Ali at a Mosque here in Maiduguri.

Okon further stated that the suspects equally confessed to have carried out same dastardly acts in Kano, Abuja, Sokoto, Zamfara, Jigawa, Jos, Yola, Damaturu and Jalingo. and that 5 assorted motor vehicles, 6 fabricated duplicate car keys, Corrosive substances used in breaking vehicle glasses/windscreen , as well as ₦14, 5 million.

He also said ” on 23/06/2021 at about 2230hrs, following a tip-off, two suspects namely: Mallam Mati and Abba Ibrahim were arrested at Jajeri ward, Maiduguri while in possession of about One Thousand and five kilograms (1005kg) of dried leaves suspected to be Cannabis Sativa with an estimated worth of Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N3, 500, 000.00)”and .. 1005kg of dried leaves suspected to be Cannabis Sativa were recovered

The command spokesman pointed out that all suspects will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigations.
