Xmas Sen Ndume presents over 30 cows, 200 bags of rice, 100 Jerry cans of Cooking
oil to troops of operation Lafiya Dole, IDPs

In the spirit of the Christmas celebrations, the former Senate Leader. senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has distributed ovet 30 cows., 200 bags of rice and 200 jerry cans of cooking oil to the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole, fighting Boko Haram and the Internally Displaced Persons ( IDPs) and less previlaged members of his constituency to alleviate their suffering during the festivity and put smiles on their faces..
While handing over the food items for Christmas celebrations to the troops of the Operation Lafiya Dole, at the Maimalari contonment, Maiduguri on Saturday, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume said ” I am here to present you 10 cow, 50 bags of rice and 20 Jerry csns of coking oil to the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole troops to celebrate this years Christmas happily at the war front for your sacrifices”.
While wishing happy Christmas and New year. Senator Ndume a Senator representing Borno South at the National Assembly was represented by Alhaji Adamu Idrisa Timta said ” this is just a token for the troops fighting Boko Haram in the front line for their sacrufies. dedication and commitment for their fatherland and for peace to reign in the Northeast “.
” The Senator could have loved to be here personally but because he went to witness the burial of one of his colleague who die recently. His heart is always with you. The Senator is also a son of soldier and a barrack boy, he doesn’t joke with the welfare of soldiers, because he grew up in the barrack”, he added.
He aaid ” he assured you that he is always with you and will continue to stand and pray for your success and your efforts to end Boko Haram insurgency ”
Responding, the theater Commander, Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Olusegun Adeniyi said ” on behalf of the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole I want to thank Senator Ndume for the gesture. This gesture will help in a long way in.putting smiles on the faces of only our troops but the barrack community in general”.
” Senator Ndume is one of the Pilar of this operation, he stood for the operation on the floor of the Senate, through media and with his energy and resources, as indicated by this gesture. We really thank him and prayed that God will continue to guide and protect him”, General Adeniyi said.
The theater Commander said ” I assured you that we will not allow Boko Haram occupy an inch, the Boko Haram end is in sight, we will do everything to see that peace return to the Northeast”.
The team were also at the CAN IDP centre, Bakasi, Gubio Camps among other camps in Southern Borno.
