Yobe Govt. Clarifies On Payment Of September Local Government Workers’ Salary

As part of efforts to reduce the spread of rumor, Yobe State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has given clarifications on the complaints by some staff of Local Government against non receive of their September 2022 salaries.
Commissioner Yobe State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, This is to inform the general public that the Yobe State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Yerima Lawan Mahmoud disclosed in a press statement made available to Daily Independent today.
According to him “the government has paid into the Banks salary account of Workers since last week”.
Therefore, anyone that did not receive his/her salary may be due to technical challenge between the Banks. It is evident that His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration has never failed payment of workers salary. This tempo will be sustained in recognition of the importance to the well being of the people.
